School nurse

Health records for pupils and staff, and every visit to the sick bay.

Health records

Health Records holds what the school needs to know about each pupil’s health: blood group, allergies, conditions such as asthma, and who to call. Press New Record, choose the pupil (or a member of staff) and fill it in. Only the clinic and the school’s leaders see these records.

A visit to the sick bay

  1. Open Consultations and press New Visit. Choose the pupil and write what is wrong.

  2. Record what you did: treatment given, any medicine and its dose, and whether the pupil went back to class, was sent home or was referred to a hospital.

  3. Close the visit when it is finished. A referred or sent-home visit stays marked so the school can follow it up.

Consultations: each visit with its date and time, the pupil, their symptoms, who saw them and whether it is open, closed or referred.
